together time.

February 9, 2010

It’s time for a little dirt on me. Before Dustin gets a chance to tell the story. I am not proud, but at least the sky isn’t truly falling.

Me (standing at the foot of the bed, brushing my teeth with our brand new, electronic toothbrush): Hey, do you see that?

Dustin (lying in bed, watching TV): See what?

Me: The numbers on the clock.

Dustin: What?

Me (thinking there was some sort of radio-wave earthquake happening only in my head): They’re moving. Do you see that? They’re shaking.

Dustin: Take the toothbrush out of your mouth.

Let’s just blame the pregnancy and let it pass, OK?

Priceless! I love that you can laugh at yourself. And it’s always better to tell on yourself first before anyone else can. Then they are laughing with you while you are telling it instead of laughing at you while others tell.
